These terms apply when you use WISR, a trivia game published by Keren Labs. By signing in you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the app.
Using WISR
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use WISR on devices you own or control, for your own entertainment. The app and everything in it stays ours.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use WISR. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live, you need a parent or guardian to agree to these terms on your behalf.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google, so there is no WISR password to look after. Keep control of the account you sign in with: anyone who can use it can use your WISR account. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and for making sure the name and avatar you choose are yours to use and are not offensive, since both appear on a public leaderboard.
There is nothing to buy
WISR is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no adverts and no paid advantages of any kind. Nothing in the app will ever ask you for payment details. If something claiming to be WISR does, it is not us.
Fair play
The leaderboard only means something if the scores on it are real. Please do not:
- use bots, scripts, modified clients or anything else that submits scores the app did not produce;
- interfere with our servers, or try to reach data belonging to another player;
- reverse engineer the app or extract the question bank, except where the law says you may;
- choose a display name or avatar that is abusive, obscene, or pretends to be somebody else.
We may reset a score, remove an entry from the leaderboard or close an account that breaks these rules.
Questions and answers
We work to keep the question bank accurate, but a trivia question can be out of date, disputed or simply wrong. If you find one, tell us at wisr@kerenlabs.com and we will fix it. The questions are provided for entertainment and are not a reference.
Availability
WISR needs a network connection to load a round and to record a score. We do not promise the service will always be available or free of faults, and we may change or withdraw features. We will not remove your scores to do it.
Our liability
WISR is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost scores, streaks or ranks. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Ending it
You can stop using WISR at any time, and ask us to delete your account by writing to wisr@kerenlabs.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer elsewhere, you keep the protections of your own country's law.
